Some years ago members of the Cairo Hackerspace visited the OpenTechSummit in Berlin. We had a nice chat about FLOSS at the FSFE booth and one of their stickers is on my notebook since then.

I just fixed it with some clear adhesive foil as the adhesion of the sticker started to get loose.

I really like that dancing robot ❤

Article13, the CensorshipMachines, has been adopted by @EP_Legal with a 15:10 majority. Again: We will take this fight to plenary and still hope to SaveYourInternet

Last month nackenstarregarantiert, a Berlin Mural festival, opened their … walls with new Murals from international artists all over town.

Image/photo

I took a stroll, enjoying the summery dry heat, and searched some of the Murals. Some new and some old were found, and an interesting mix of the different faces of that district of Berlin.

Image/photo

The path I took started in the Rigaer Straße, went down Warschauer and Falkenstein Straße, crossed Görlitzer Park and from there straight towards Moritzplatz with a small detour in the Luckauer Straße. Maybe some 5 or 6 km through Friedrichshain and Kreuzberg.

Image/photo

Great evening, looking at things at the streets normally overlooked. Some more images of some of the streetart discovered can be found in the Murals 2018 gallery.

Is there a reason why I’m receiving these posts all of a sudden?
Tobias Friendica
Yes, I was too quick to enable the mirror option. I thought it had already fetched all old postings, but it did not… BTW where does the link for the article point you at — my ~friendica ~friendica node or the homepage?
hoergen Friendica
It points directly to the article
Tobias Friendica
That was the mirror with the “Fetch Keywords and more information” option, or how ever the last option from the pull down is labeled.

Tobias Friendica
When the EU uploadfilter are there, running nodes for other people will get interesting 😉

Which remain totally optional, of course! Wink, wink, nudge, nudge.

I thought there are exceptions for open source platforms and small networks, at least according to the version of the EU Council…
Tobias Friendica
Oh, that would be nice! Do you have a link? Or are you referring to (37a) of the draft? It might actually work out, if you’re not hosting for profit. Maybe.
Marco R. Friendica
Well, 38e talks about excemptions for small and micro enterprises and 37a about non-for-profit-purposes… http://www.consilium.europa.eu/media/35373/st09134-en18.pdf

Now playing a bit around with it, adding notes about an idea I had the other day.

Proposed upload filters — what can you do to save your internet?

1. Go to saveyourinternet.eu to access free resources to send a tweet, write an email or call your MEPs and tell them why you don’t like the proposals. This page provides strong arguments and some sample texts for you to use, if you need them.

2. Organise “Call your MEP” sessions with friends, co-workers and activists. Do you need help to organise a calling session ? We prepared guides for organisers and we are ready to answer any questions you might have. Get in touch at andreea.belu(at)edri.org for more info.

There are a few weeks left, we need to act now!

I’ve added the Worldbrain to my Firefox yesterday. Hope it is working in the background. It already links into my results on ddg. Lets see how that works out.

Also I’m just cloning the susi.ai repo from github to have a look at it.
